KICKS @ St. Andrew's Church, Kildwick

Sadly, our Junior Church group is not running this term. This is not due to a lack of children as we had up to 10 attending regularly, but due to a shortage of leaders. The group spans a large age-range and to run successfully we need at least two, preferably three adults to staff it each week. Our small core of leaders just can't cover every week safely.

I'd like to thank Elizabeth Green, Cathy and Peter Medd and Hannah Jowett for all their hard work over the past 18 months. I'd also like to thank all of the children for all the laughter and fun we've shared and for asking hard questions and exploring God's world and word with such enthusiasm.

If you feel you would like to see a children's programme running on Sundays, now is your chance to come forward. Please don't wait to be asked. Without your help there will be no Junior Church with the obvious knock on effect of losing a young presence on Sundays. As a parent I can vouch for the benefits both to children and parents of having a Sunday children’s programme.
